LP360 2020.1 Release Notes

New Features

Added support for Chinese (simplified) language with "Ctrl+C" shortcut to run LP360 in Chinese.

Added support for Geoid18 for NAVD88 (covers Conterminous US, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands).

Added Point Cloud Tasks:

  • Affine Transform LAS

  • Classify by Proximity

  • GeoCode TrueView LIDAR (TrueView Workflow Toolbar)

  • LAS Smoothing

Added to Live View: Blend Classification mode to Map, Profile and 3D views; Display Updates options added, New Edge of Flightline Flag Filter.

Added "Open Location in Explorer" command to Table of Contents Right-Click Menu which opens the associated file folder.

Added new Map Grid display option to the 2D Map View, accessed from File-->Project Settings-->Global.

Added TrueView Workflow and TrueView Utilities Toolbars.

Added Create Seawall Feature tool to Feature Edit Toolbar.

Added Cloud Optimized Geotiff (COG) as new export format.

 

Modifications to Existing Features

  • Multi-threading is used to speed up the processing time for the Height Filters and Model Key Points Filter.  

  • Modified the Reproject LAS Point Cloud Task GUI to change Translate/Scale group to the "Apply Geoid" group where user can specify a GeoTIFF Grid File.

  • Added Export to DGN, DGNV8, and DXF on the right-click Table of Contents menu.

  • Add Files dialog now supports adding DGN, DGNV8, DXF, KML, and DWG file formats.

  • Modified Reproject LAS Point Cloud Task so that the Output LAS layer is in a Read-Write state.

  • Modified Add Files dialog, the Add Feature Layer will default the Transform option to false.

  • Modified the Ground Filter to work on dense data sets.

  • Modified Live View to include a Single Mode checkbox to the Point Source ID, User Data, and GPS Time tabs that ensures only one row will be checked at a time.

  • Added Block Buffer and Units to Height Filter.

  • When Importing ASCII to LAS 1.4, it will default to PDRF 6, 7 or 8.

  • Modified the Edit Verticies command on the Feature Edit toolbar, so that Auto Z is prevented from computing a new Z when moving a vertex in the profile.

  • Added Quick Grid field/button to the Profile Properties Graticules tab to quickly turn on the Grid, set Map Units, and set both frequencies to specified value.  

  • Multiple modifications to Feature Analyst: Feature Analyst indicates feature geometry type such as Point Polyline, Polygon, etc.; Feature Analyst Options dialog has option to enable image new window, max image new windows, and define attributes that contain image paths on features; Added Image Viewer to Features tab that display images based on the Attributes defined in the Options dialog; Apply Default rotation and Flip options to image viewer.

  • Added support for LAS and Raster Layers for the Table-of-Contents Right-Click menu Delete Files command.

  • Added Https support to floating license checkout.

  • Added display to show Processing time for Point Cloud Tasks.

  • Added Standard Deviation of Mean (STOD) and Standard Deviation (x,y, xy, z) values to the Summary Group and Report on the Control Points Report dialog.

  • Modified Export a PRJ file to support all raster types.

 

Defect Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Live View was filtering by flags even though Filter Off was set on the Classification tab. (9569)

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the WMS layer updates to take longer in LP360 when displaying as base maps. (9572)

  • Fixed an issue that caused process to fail when importing a shape file but wrong error message was displayed and blank lines were not skipped. (9468)

  • Fixed an issue that caused error messages when attempting to run Volumetric Analysis PCT. (9455)

  • Fixed an issue with LPScanInfo that was causing the process to fail and exit without an error message. (9429)

  • Fixed an issue with the TOC Right-Click Delete Files command where the command was not deleting the associated LAS files when deleting a LAS layer. (9423)

  • Fixed an issue where Point Trace and squaring was incorrectly overwriting output shape files when set to Append and the ".shp" file extension was not specified on the output file. (9422)

  • Fixed an issue with 3D Features won't Classify by Feature when using 3D distance. (9404)

  • Fixed an issue that caused an unknown SRS when adding v1.2 Files to older versions of ArcMap. (9350)
