About Toggling the Use of Breakline Enforcement

By default, the use of breakline enforcement is not turned on. Before selecting a source of breakline layers, you must turn on the breakline enforcement. When you no longer wish to use enforcements in the surface, you can turn off breakline enforcements.

How to Toggle the Use of Breakline Enforcement

"Use Breakline Enforcement" Checkbox

1. To toggle the usage of breakline enforcements, enable/disable the "Use Breakline Enforcement" checkbox. If the checkbox is checked, breakline enforcements will be used in the surface, otherwise enforcements will not be used in the surface.

"Use Breakline Enforcement" Tool

1. Alternatively, the user can toggle the Use Breakline Enforcement  button on the view toolbars to enable/disable breaklines in the window. To do this, breakline layers must first be specified in layer properties for that view.

Tip Before any breaklines are actually used within a surface, one or more layers must be selected to use as breaklines.
