Receive an Authentication Failed message stating, "There are no licenses available for the {Desired License} level. LP360 will run in Viewer mode. (22856)"
🔍 Root Cause
This message indicates that LP360 was unable to check out a license at the selected license level and has started in Viewer mode instead.
This message does not identify the underlying cause by itself.
Common reasons this message may appear include:
- The license is already in use or roamed on another machine.
- The incorrect license type is selected (Subscription vs Perpetual).
- You are not signed in or not assigned to a license pool.
- Network restrictions are preventing license validation.

📚Why LP360 runs in Viewer mode
When LP360 cannot obtain a license, it automatically falls back to Viewer mode so you can still open projects and view data. Processing and licensed tools are unavailable until a license is successfully checked out.
Once the licensing issue is resolved and a license is checked out, restart LP360 to return to normal operation.
