The Viewer tab in the LP360 ribbon is designed to streamline access to essential visualization tools for point cloud data. Introduced and refined in LP360 version 2025.1, this tab provides a simplified interface tailored for users operating under a viewer-level license, though it remains accessible to full-license users via the Custom Ribbon Menu.

The Viewer tab in LP360 offers a clean, intuitive interface for users focused on visualization and basic project interaction. Whether you're exploring sample data or reviewing complex point clouds, the tab provides all the essential tools to get started quickly and efficiently.

Accessing the Viewer Tab

  • Automatic Display: If LP360 is launched with a viewer-level license, the Viewer tab appears by default.
  • Manual Activation: Full-license users can switch to the viewer interface by enabling the Viewer tab in the Custom Ribbon Menu.
