Reset Layout in LP360

The Options -> Reset Layout feature in LP360 is designed to restore the user interface (UI) to its default configuration. This includes repositioning windows, restoring tabs, and resolving layout inconsistencies that may arise from customizations, multi-monitor setups, or corrupted UI states.

🔍 What Does “Reset Layout” Do?

When you activate Options → Reset Layout, LP360 performs the following actions:

• Restores pane positions: All floating or docked windows are returned to their default locations.
• Reorganizes tab order: Tabs such as “Project,” “Support,” and others are reordered to their original sequence.
• Resolves visibility issues: Hidden or misplaced windows (e.g., Job Manager) are brought back into view, especially useful for multi-monitor setups.
• Does not affect ribbon/toolbars unless triggered via startup override (see below).

🧭 How to Use It

1. Open LP360.
2. Navigate to Options in the main menu.
3. Select Reset Layout.

💡 Tip: You can also hold CTRL while launching LP360 to trigger a layout reset. This is especially helpful if a window is off-screen or missing.

🛠️ Troubleshooting Notes

• If the Reset Layout button does not work (e.g., tabs remain disorganized), manually delete the layout configuration file:
  • Navigate to:
    %AppData%\LP360
  • Delete:
    LP360_Layout4
  • Restart LP360 to regenerate the layout file and restore default tab order.
• The Shift-key startup override also resets the layout but will reset the ribbon/toolbars as well.
