Live View Extra Byte Filters

Extra Bytes is a mechanism that allows programmers to formally extend a point data record and add customized data fields. Live View allows user to filter by the Extra Bytes data using the Extra Bytes 1, 2 and 3 tabs.

How to Set up an Extra Byte Filter

Select the desired data filed via the "Available Field Names" drop-down menu.

Metadata for the selected parameter is displayed in the dialog.

Note: Some EBs use scale and offset to adjust the range of the data. The min and max values will be displayed since this range is most familiar to users.
