Display by Color Band

The Display by Color Band legend type displays a color ramp cycle based on changes in vertical distance. The display is similar to viewing contours, where the vertical distance between each color is the intermediate contour interval and the complete vertical distance through the color ramp is the index contour interval. The vertical distance between each color is specified in theLIDAR Properties dialog, and the color changes can be set to smooth or abrupt from one color to the next.

The symbology is set on the Elevation tab on the LIDAR Properties dialog box, under the Symbology tab.

How to Display the LIDAR Layer by Color Band

1. On the LP360 toolbar, click the arrow next to the Display by Legend button.

   

2. Select the Display by Color Band button.
