Exporting the Header Contents

The contents of the public header block within an LAS file can be exported to a text file from the LAS File Information Dialog. The text file created contains the header contents as they are displayed in the tabular view on the right side of the dialog.

How to Export the Header Contents

LAS File Content Menu

1. Right click an LAS file in the list on the left side of the LAS File Information Dialog.
2. Select "Export Header..." on the content menu.
3. Navigate to a folder and input the name of the file to be created. Select Save.
