Displaying the Header Contents
The header contents are the values stored within the public header block of an LAS file. The header contents of a file contains general information about the file including creation, spatial extents, and the size of the file in numbers of points. The contents of the header are displayed in the same order in the tabular view as the values are stored within a file as described by the LAS file format specification.
To learn more about the LAS file format and to view the specification, please visit the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS).
