Defining the Input LAS Layer
The Input LAS Layer list specifies on which LAS Layer you are performing a Rail Extraction. This field displays the selected LAS Layer. When [Active LAS Layer] is displayed, the Rail Extraction will be performed on the Layer defined as the Active LIDAR Layer. You may specify another Layer by clicking the Browse button and selecting the Layer you would like to use in the available cell in the I/O Manager.
How To Define the Input LAS Layer
- Define a Rail Extractor PCT as described in the Rail Extractor topic.
- Click the browse button
next to Input LAS Layer. The I/O Manager will display.
- In the I/O Manager, click the drop-down arrow and select one of the Layers available in the list. Only the LAS Layers currently open in LP360 are available, so if you want to use a Layer other than one listed, you must first open it using the Create LIDAR Layer command. To use the Active LIDAR Layer, select the [Active LAS Layer] option.
- Complete the setup of the Rail Extraction task and click Apply.
