Selecting Input Geometry for a Conflation Point Cloud Task
About Selecting the Input Geometry for a Conflation Point Cloud Task
Selecting input geometry defines the features for conflating elevations. The selection can be an existing layer in the map, a data set that you specify, or the interactive point cloud task tool geometry. The input geometry can be a point, line, or polygon type. Not all conflation methods are available for each geometry type. For example, the downstream constraint method cannot be used with point input geometry.
How to Select the Input Geometry
Open Data Set Command
The Input Geometry field will indicate the current source of the input (layer, data set, or point cloud task tool geometry).
- Within the Conflation task properties window, next to 'Input LAS Layer', click the browse button
to display the I/O Manager dialog with Conflation Input Geometry enabled for edit.
- In the I/O Manager, specify the layer, data set, or tool geometry. Learn more about using the I/O Manager.
