Control Points List
The Control Point List displays each control point and check point, along with attributes such as the name, coordinates, the surface elevation interpolated for the point, and the vertical error between the control point and surface elevations. You can interact with the list and displayed points in the map by turning control points off and excluding points from the report or panning to a control point in a map. Once the measurements and calculations have been made for each point, the list displays points that exceed a 90 and 95% confidence interval in special colors to emphasize problem points.
The point name column is populated with the attribute name that you select in the Name Field just above the Control/Check Points List. The default selection order for a unique name attribute is the following: 1. "Name", 2. "ID", and 3. "FID". When possible, the name column sorts out numerically.
The definition query that is set for the selected control/check point layer is honored when loading the points into the points list. See ArcGIS Help for more information on definition queries.
